NREGA Job Card Number – How to Find It by Name

Your job card number identifies your household in every NREGA record – attendance, muster rolls and payments. If you have lost the card or never noted the number, you can find it from your name in a few minutes.

What the number looks like

A job card number is a code made up of the state, district, block and panchayat codes followed by the household’s own serial number, for example UP-12-005-019-001/12345. The exact format differs a little from state to state.

Find it from your name

  1. Open vbgramg.dord.gov.in and, in the Dashboard section, tap MIS Report. The reports site, vbgramgrep.dord.gov.in, opens.
  2. Solve the small sum in the Captcha Code box (for example 11 + 35 = 46) and tap Verify Code.
  3. Choose Financial Year 2026-2027 and, under State Name, your state.
  4. In the report list, open R1. Beneficiary Detail → “1. Job Card Related Reports” → Category wise Household/Workers.
  5. In the district table, tap your district name, then your block, then your Gram Panchayat.
  6. The Job Card/Employment Register opens, listing every household’s Gramin Rozgar Guarantee Card No. and name. Search for your name with Find in page or Ctrl + F.
  7. Tap your card number to open the full card – photo, household members, E-KYC and ABPS status, and work and wages for the Financial Year you pick at the bottom.

  • Ask the Gram Rozgar Sevak or the panchayat secretary – they can read it from the register.
  • Check an old wage SMS from your bank, which often carries the reference.
  • Look at a printed muster roll from a work you did; it lists job card numbers.
