Your job card number identifies your household in every NREGA record – attendance, muster rolls and payments. If you have lost the card or never noted the number, you can find it from your name in a few minutes.
What the number looks like
A job card number is a code made up of the state, district, block and panchayat codes followed by the household’s own serial number, for example UP-12-005-019-001/12345. The exact format differs a little from state to state.

- Select your state, district, block and Gram Panchayat.
- Open Job card / Employment Register.
- Search the page for your name or the head of household’s name.
