Working out your pay
Say you live in Bihar and worked 20 days this month: 20 × ₹300 = ₹6,000. If you get the full 125 days, that is up to ₹37,500 in a year. In Haryana the same 125 days come to ₹51,125.
Bear in mind that this is the maximum. What you are actually paid depends on the attendance recorded in the muster roll and on how much work was measured. A low measurement means a lower payment – if that happens, ask the mate or Rozgar Sevak to show you the measurement record.

When does the higher wage start?
The new rate applies to work done from 1 July 2026. If you were paid the old rate for work after that date, pull up the payment details and show them at the panchayat. Here is how to check your payment.
